Maisinger Schlucht (Starnberg) Family Nature Walk

We will visit the area of Maisinger Schlucht, that is located near Starnberg. We will walk through forests, and fields, and along the Maisinger Bach river where many wildlife species live. We will listen and observe birds and invertebrates, fishes, frogs and other animal tracks and signs, trees and flowers. We will examine in detail with lenses and microscope to learn more about the living species of this area. This nature walk is an unique and an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

Meeting point: The session is conducted in Maisinger Schlucht (North East area). I will contact you directly about the meeting place details.

Age: 3-10 years old

Starting time: 10:30

Duration of a session: 2 hours

Number of children:  a max of 10.

Parents/grandparents join for free. a max of 2 adults for each child and siblings of less than 3 years are welcome to join.

Language: English

What to bring: closed shoes, long trousers, backpack, water bottle, change of clothes in case kids get wet or muddy, raincoat, sun hat.

What is provided: Binoculars, magnifying lenses, a microscope, field guides and snacks.
