Given the high demand, we will explore again Perlacher Forest, but this time a different area inside the park to learn more about its biodiversity and local ecology. We will have a wonderful nature walk through the forest and we will discover the secrets of plants, mushrooms, lichens, and various forest animals. We will stop and identify animal tracks and signs along the way (like nests, burrows, fur, feathers, skulls and bones, egg shells, scats, trails, chew marks, leftover meals, and all possible other signs), observe which invertebrates live on trees and under logs, examine wild plants and their seeds structure, and listen to the beautiful songs of birds. This is going to be an amazing and joyful experience for the whole family!

Age: 3-10 years old
Duration of a session: 2 hours
Number of children: a max of 10.
Parents/grandparents join for free. a max of 2 adults for each child and siblings of less than 3 years are welcome to join.

What to bring: closed shoes, long trousers, backpack, water bottle, change of clothes in case kids get wet or muddy, raincoat, sun hat.
Field equipment: Binoculars, compasses, microscopes, magnifying lenses, etc will be provided to observe and examine in detail nature treasures
NOTE: in case of really bad weather (i.e. heavy rain and thunderstones, strong winds) the session will be cancelled and you will get reimbursed.
